An unusual style of dress for Jin, I'm sure. No doubt Ty Lee persuaded her...somehow... =D

what Anime does "Jin" come from?

She isn't from an anime. She and Ty Lee are both from Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is a cartoon.

I could have swore that it was an anime. I also conider the first G.I. Joe, Tranformers, TMNT, and Thundercats as anime. If an animation has to be a Japanese only creation to be called an anime, than so be it. I'm not that much of a purist.

Well, even the Mysterious Cities of Gold was a French-Japanese animation, and some people consider it anime. XD But it's not. Having anime-like styles does not make something anime... No matter how many cliched and overdone sightgags are needlessly thrown in (coughcoughTeenTitanscough). It's a cartoon if it's western. That's pretty much it. G.I. Joe, Transformers, and TMNT look nothing like anime, so I don't see how you could consider them anime. ThunderCats at least had some of the animating team that would go on to form/join Studio Ghibli, but even that was a cartoon (and I love ThunderCats). Still, I'd rather a cartoon be incorrectly identified as anime than anime called a cartoon. XD

Those four titles had that distinct look. And the hyper kinectic feel to them is something I've generally seen in anime. Tranformers was a Japanese production before it was marketed to the U.S., like Macross/Robotech. If I know an artist is not Japanese, I may still regard theirs as manga or anime 'style'. One of my favorite illustrators is Adam Warren. I know there are those that don't like his style. He has improved so much over the years. I admire his style over Akira Toriyama's ( damn, I hear a lynch mob being formed. >: D . ) I was collecting different books and comics illustrated by Kenichi Sonada ( Gunsmith Cats is an awesome read ), Johji Manabe, Rumiko Takahashi, and others. I forget the name of the artist behind Blade of the Immortal. Those are just some of the Dark Horse titles. I understand the need to classify things like this, but in a hundred years, who shall care?

"Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Aang". She takes a shine to Zuko during Season 2 ('Book II: Earth') and dates him for a while.

If you look carefully, you can see that the description tells you where/what series the characters are from. It's kind of obscure, but it's right there in the first line, I'm sure. -_-

"Avatar: The Last Airbender" is nowhere near "obscure". :( But yes, it is right there in the picture description.

Ah, maybe obscure wasn't the right term then, since that doesn't really make sense otherwise. ;)

yeah Avatar, now I know again watching that on the tv as lil kid, good old times ^_^
you probably know that when you watch an Anime with more then 100 episodes you can't remember a person that you only saw in 1 episode,
but now I know again, it was the girlfriend of zuko for 1 day

Um, no. They "look alike", and have the EXACT SAME NAMES, and wear the same type of clothing from the show? These are obviously the same characters.

Oops, my bad.

I didn't look at the title.

I just read the description before Eudetenis corrected it.

So....I just assumed they looked alike. lol
